In colocation, the server belongs to you, we only provide physical space and infrastructure. Hardware, operating system, and application management belong to you. In managed hosting, the server belongs to us or is leased, we undertake all management. Updates, backup, monitoring, security are included in managed hosting. Colocation offers more control, managed hosting requires less operational load. Hybrid models are also available - colocation + management service.
